Community Service


Ø  Community Service is strictly volunteer work - NO PAY in cash should be earned.

Ø  Student must be enrolled at LMCHS.

Ø  Student must follow the CODE OF CONDUCT (see Mrs. Dunbar for codes).

Ø  Students may choose his/her organization to complete service hours.

Ø  Any ESTABLISHED community business or organization is acceptable.

Ø  Student must have a letter from the organization verifying service hours and/or fill out log form by agency mentor (see Mrs. Dunbar for log form).

Students may earn academic elective credit:

Ø  50 hours for ½ credit

Ø  100 hours for 1 full credit

Ø  Only one elective credit can be earned for community service.
