Las Montañas Charter High School Equity Council

Las Montañas announces the members of the school's Equity Council. Members of the council from LMCHS include Caz Martinez, Gabe Estrada, Valery Ratliff-Parker, John Lee, Claudia Salas, and Dr. Christopher Adams. Also on the school's equity council include: Daisy Maldonado, community representative from Empower New Mexico: Patricia Gonzales, parent representative, and RaeShawn Winters, student representative.

ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENTS: Extended Day of Learning

LMCHS will host an "Extended Learning Day" on the last Friday of the month. The Extended Learning Day is open to all students who attend LMCHS, on a voluntary basis. The goal of the Extended Learning Day is to focus on giving additional instructional support for all students. Students are encouraged to attend to catch up on classwork, do frontloading, work on online courses, or get extra tutoring for their classes. There will also be enrichment activities offered such as field trips, music, and arts and crafts. A light lunch snack will be served. For more information, call 575-527-5916.

LAS MONTAÑAS CLOSING FOR WINTER BREAK DEC. 20/ DEC. 19 HALF DAY

Las Montañas Charter High School will be closed for the winter holiday from Friday, December 20th to Friday, January 3rd. Staff will return on Monday, January 6th. Students will return, Tuesday, January 7th and schedules will be distributed at 8:00 am in the commons area. Additionally, Thursday, December 19th will be a half day and students will be dismissed at 12:00. Thursday will also only be for students who need to retake final exams. Students, we wish you good luck during finals and we wish everyone a happy holidays and a happy new year!
